Weld County School District Re-8
  • Enrollment of over 2,500 students
  • Two elementary, one middle school, one high school, and one neighborhood magnet school
St. Vrain Valley School District
  • St. Vrain Valley School District is the educational home of more than 32,000 of Colorado’s students.

    • The seventh largest school district in the state, St. Vrain Valley operates 53 schools that are spread over 411 square miles.
    • The makeup of the schools include: 1 Stand Alone Preschool, 26 Elementary, 2 K-8, 7 Middle, 1 Middle/Senior, 8 High, 1 Alternative, and 6 Charter.
  • St. Vrain high schools continue to rank locally and nationally according to the recent U.S. News & World Report 2015 Best High Schools Rankings.
Higher Education
A wide selection of secondary and higher educational opportunities are available in the greater metropolitan area and within a short driving distance in the surrounding region. In 2005, Colorado universities received more than $887 million in research grants. World-class research is conducted in several universities located in metro Denver.
