Overview
The Community Resource Officers are dedicated to:
- Organizing community activities such as Santa Cops, spay and neuter clinics, summer programs, and other community-oriented services
- Reducing the incidence of animal-inflicted injuries by promoting responsible pet ownership through public education
- Enforcing animal control laws
- Enforcing other ordinance violations including but not limited to: trash, litter, debris, overgrowth, abandon vehicles, etc.
The Community Resource Officers assist citizens by providing information on:
- Animal adoption information
- Animal reporting procedures
- Pet licensing and permits
- Spay / neuter information
